FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Leadon Vale Driver Training is pleased to announce the arrival of a new automatic car in the Herefordshire and Worcestershire region. This car is to be especially modified to provide driver training solutions to people with a wide range of disabilities. This could range from people learning to drive for the very first time to helping people returning to driving after an accident or illness.
The car will be able to be used as a standard automatic for people wanting driving lessons or further training in an automatic car. The modifications include hand controls to enable the car to be driven without the use of legs to help people with, for instance, Cerebral Palsy or following paralysis. Also fitted will be a modified pedal arrangement to enable you to drive with either the left or right side of your body. This will help somebody following a stroke or amputation. Many other modifications can be made to suit an individuals’ requirement. We are also fully insured to conduct training in an individuals’ car if the modifications are more extensive or just if the driver wishes.
